Masquerade Ball – February

Le Tour de Shore – May

Bike the country roads of the Eastern Shore. Portion of proceeds benefit the Eastern Shore Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

Shore Fest Golf Tournament – May

Event is held at the Eastern Shore Yacht & Country Club in Melfa, Virginia. Enjoy a delicious lunch followed by a friendly yet competitive round on the greens for bragging rights and prizes.

Wicomico County Fair - August

The Wicomico County Fair provides a fun-filled weekend of activities including children's games, animals, home arts, and entertainment. The Wicomico County Fair, previously known by the community as the Wicomico Farm and Home Show, has partnered with the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce to expand their fair traditions.

Geocache Dash – August

The Dash is a geotrail designed to introduce people to some of Wicomico County’s ‘Hidden Treasures’ and it can easily be completed in one day. In addition to the land locations, two boat-only caches will also be featured in the Dash so cachers can experience some of Wicomico’s beautiful waterways.

Delmarva Bike Week – September

Bike Week brings over 200,000 visitors to the Delmarva Peninsula. Attractions that can be enjoyed over the week are custom bike builders, rallies, live entertainment, contests and more.

Seagull Century – October

More than 7,500 Sea Gull Century cyclists embark from Salisbury University yearly for a 100 mile or 100 kilometer bike ride across the scenic Lower Shore.

Hosted by the Wicomico Yacht Club, this parade of festive boats can be viewed any place along the river from Wicomico Creek to downtown Salisbury.

Decorating Delmarva – December

This 36-night event at the Delaware International Speedway and US 13 Dragway consists of six major destinations on a 2 mile drive through an animated tour of the North Pole, including holiday lights and community built displays. This charity event supports several groups on the Peninsula including local schools, charity groups, non-profit organizations and clubs, churches and volunteer fire companies.

Christmas Parade – December

This parade hosted by the Salisbury Jaycees is a yearly Christmas tradition in Salisbury. Starting at Civic Avenue, this parade features floats from non-profits in Salisbury.
