Delmarva Job & Career Expo

The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce and Quality Staffing Services are pleased to announce the Delmarva Job & Career Expo will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center, Midway Room, 500 Glen Avenue, Salisbury, MD 21804.

Since 2006, the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce (SACC) has presented an annual Job & Career Fair, previously held at the Centre at Salisbury, attracting as many as 65 employers and 2,000 job seekers.

Now hosted at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center, the Delmarva Job & Career Expo offers expanded space for participating businesses, providing job seekers with increased access to a diverse range of employment opportunities.

This venue continues to reflect the Chamber’s commitment to creating a premier platform for both employers and job seekers across the region.

The Delmarva Job & Career Expo is FREE for attendees and open to all businesses throughout the Lower Eastern Shore.

Employer Opportunities

We invite any business from across Delmarva that is looking for employees to join us for this exceptional event.

Employers will have the chance to meet face-to-face with prospective employees, while job seekers will gain access to hundreds of job openings across various industries.

Businesses interested in participating can:

  • Reserve individual spaces for $150. A table and two chairs are provided.
  • Electricity is available for an additional $25.
  • Premium sponsorship packages are available for $500 and offers the highest level of exposure to all attending vendors and attendees with a PREMIUM table location, company logo on signage, slide presentation, print materials, social media posts, press releases, org & salisburyarea.com websites.
  • Registration deadline is September 28, 2026.

Job Seeker Services

Job seekers are encouraged to come dressed for success and bring multiple copies of their resumes for distribution to potential employers.

Free services will be available to all job seekers including:

  • Resume Doctor – offers one on one assistance for job seekers aiming to improve their resumes for maximum impact.
  • American Sign Language (ASL) Interpretation – providing deaf and hard-of-hearing job seekers with interpretation services, enabling them to fully participate and showcase their skills and qualifications.
  • Spanish and Haitian-Creole Translators – bridging communication gaps by converting written and spoken content between these languages and English.
  • American Job Center (AJC) Mobile Unit – equipped with computers, internet access, and other resources to facilitate job searching, training, and career development.

Non-Profit Circle at the Delmarva Job & Career Fair

In addition to employer and job seeker opportunities, a Non-Profit Circle will allow an opportunity for a select number of non-profits organizations to display and promote volunteer opportunities and share information about their organizations and services.

The Non-Profit Circle tables are strictly limited and on a first-come first-serve basis. Tables are available only to active SACC members that have been in good standing for a minimum of three consecutive years.

Non-Profit Circle Eligibility and Information:

  • Participation is FREE to any non-profit organization that has been a SACC member in good standing for a minimum of three consecutive years.
  • Electric is available for an additional cost of $25.
  • Space is strictly limited to TEN organizations. Applications will be approved based on eligibility and date of receipt of the application.
  • Solicitations for donations during the expo are not permitted.
  • A table and two chairs are provided.
  • Registration deadline is September 26, 2025.

REGISTRATION WILL OPEN IN JULY 2026.

Deadline to register for booth space is October 1, 2025.

PREMIUM BUSINESS SPONSORS – $500
Receive the highest level of exposure to all attending vendors and attendees with a premium table location, your company logo on signage, print and social media, and SACC websites.

EMPLOYER BOOTH SPACE – $150
Includes (1) 6 ft. table & (2) chairs
Electricity not included (must be added separately)

NON-PROFIT CIRCLE – SOLD OUT
Must be an active SACC member in good standing for a minimum of three consecutive years.
Space is strictly limited to ten organizations.
Applications will be approved based on eligibility and date of receipt of the application.
Solicitations for donations during the expo are not permitted.
A table and two chairs are provided.

ADD ELECTRICITY – $25
Electrical spaces are very limited and must be reserved in advance.
